Sergio Malaspina is a qualified professional specialist in employment law.
In the course of his twenty years of experience, he has built up solid skills and an in-depth understanding of all matters relating to employment law as they affect his clients in the Italian and international business sectors.
He specialises in particular in employment-related disputes, and more specifically in employment contracts and dismissals, agency and freelance employment contracts, the working relationships of management personnel, corporate relations in general, corporate reorganisation and matters relating to safety in the workplace (compensation for biological/differential damages).
His specialist areas also include the management of relations with employees, contractors/consultants and freelance workers, including assistance in the selection of the most appropriate types of contract (drafting of contracts classified by type, duties and category of worker), the inclusion of special clauses (non-competition agreements, stability clauses, regulatory provisions on inventions, etc) and assistance with disciplinary complaints and procedures and the related measures; procedures relating to transfers and changes of job description, working hours, salaries and wage and salary policies (including stock option, bonus, profit sharing and similar plans); health and safety in the workplace; damage compensation (for biological, differential, non-pecuniary and immaterial damages, etc); protection of privacy in the workplace and matters relating to the use of IT tools; individual and collective dismissals; mobbing, bossing and straining; and offers of incentives to leave.
He also provides valid support in the management of redundancies, redundancy funds, relations with trade union organisations and the drafting of level two collective employment contracts.
A graduate of the University of West Piedmont, he is a member of the Bar Association of Milan and the Italian Association of Employment Lawyers (Associazione Giuslavoristi Italiani – AGI).

He works with associations and non-profit entities, which he provides with preliminary consultancy services on relations with economically deprived persons.
