The Sofiae<\/strong> team of chartered accountants and lawyers assists the clients throughout the tax inspections carried out by the relevant authorities and in any tax disputes which might subsequently arise, starting from the pre-litigation stage, by means of a series of mitigating measures aimed at reaching compromise settlements and preventing any litigation before the courts, and in the course of the litigation process, during which the taxpayer may challenge a payment order issued by the financial administration or any other taxation body which is regarded as unlawful or unfounded, at all levels of justice up to the Supreme Court. <\/p>\n

The aim of the team in this delicate and frequently tricky area is to combine the skills of lawyers and tax accountants to build up a 360\u00b0 defence against the positions taken up by the financial administration, while working with the client to assess the most appropriate decisions and strategies to be adopted at each stage in the procedure.<\/p>\n
